Problem-free triple play

Belgium's leading telecom operator in 2005 launched Belgacom TV, its IPTV offering, via broadband. Since April 2008, as one of the first providers in Europe, Belgacom has offered high-resolution channels in HDTV based on VDSL2 technology. With that, the company completed its triple play offering of broadband telephony, Internet and TV. In 2008, more than 200,000 customers signed up for the outstanding TV experience alone.

SOLVATiO® makes for first-class customer service in this technically highly sophisticated environment. While the Belgacom customer informs the Hotline (IVR) about his reason for calling, SOLVATiO® is already initiating line measurements. By the time the call center agent takes the inquiry, he can already see the complete measurement results in the SOLVATiO® Cockpit

 

Smart implementation
With the support of iisy AG, Belgacom chose to perform most of the SOLVATiO® implementation tasks itself: connecting the measuring systems for checking line quality, and later defining the diagnostic processes and how they would be represented in SOLVATiO Process


Into the future, with SOLVATiO
SOLVATiO has convinced Belgacom. The company also plans to implement all the self-repair service for its subscribers with SOLVATiO® by 2010.
